So, last night I went along to a taping of the new show from The Chaser team, Yes We Canberra, which is if you can’t guess their election special series. Below I’ll give you a sneak peak of if the show is any good, some interesting insights into the behind the scenes including a chat with rarely seen Chaser Boy, Dominic Knight, and some insight into the magic of the ABC.

A few week ago I got an amazing experience, that was actually two experiences wrapped in one neat little package: I was invited to a special preview screening of Hubble 3D at IMAX Sydney and for an exclusive tour of the projector room and set up they have there.
Something that I’m not sure those who invited me knew though, and which you might not know either, is I’ve been blind in my right eye since birth which makes the tales of this third dimension all you normal people go on about the same to me as you trying to imagine seeing with sonar – I get how it works, but can’t really appreciate it. Then again, all the reviews will no doubt focus on the 3D element – but I can tell you whether it’s any good at all. So, read on.

It’s amazing how many ways there are to talk about something which is really so very minor. I’m talking about yesterday’s endless discussion about a tweet by Australian pizza chain, Crust Pizza.
Oh and for the record, I’m eating Crust Pizza while I type this and this is not going to be a blog post about how to run a social campaign, the perils of social media or political correctness: no, this post is about how generally incompetent the Australian digital media landscape is with discussing this.
