Kino #55… in 3D!

So, I decided to use the (terrible quality) 3D camera on my Nintendo 3DS to take some photos at this month’s Kino Sydney film night. As someone who can’t see 3D due to being blind in one eye, extracting the photos and turning them into stereo photos. WELCOME TO MY 2D WORLD, SUCKERS!

(Edit: Here’s the guide on how to do this, for those that were curious.)

First, some photos of my kitten, Frazil, to test it out:

After I arrived, some photos of the cool kids hanging out on the street:

It really was too dark to take pictures inside Kino, but here are some:

I call this one, Dermot in the Dark:

Yeah, some of the built in filters and effects are… odd:

Then it was half time! Time to hit the street for cigarettes and conversation:

After Kino came the After Kino Drinks. We… may have drunk a little and then ended up at Macca’s very early in the morning:

Apparently I took photos of some randoms, too?

It was also the birthday of Davey, one of Sydney’s best young photographers - so here is my tribute to him, slightly tipsy on his birthday:

This is by far my favourite. Kawaii!

Another random, apparently? I actually don’t remember this guy:

Then apparently some last random shots from the street:

So yeah, not great. Reminds me of shitty old phone cameras - terribly in many situations, and often blurry, but OK in full sun. Think I may definitely have to play with this again - shame Flickr doesn’t support animated gifs in the default view.

OMG, those are so cool! I’ll have to play with this too.

This is so cool. How did you do that? This is my first time seeing photos like this. I think it’s different to those gif photos I’ve seen before.
